1. Rainy weather is likely to continue today, according to the National Weather Service. The day is expected to be mostly cloudy with a 60 percent chance of rain showers, a high of 68 and 13-18 mph winds with gusts reaching 24 mph. 

2. The much-anticipated draft of the proposed Schools of Choice mandate was shared with all state legislators Wednesday. It was part of a multi-bill package that includes several other changes to education. Stay tuned today for local reaction to the draft language used to address capacity.

3. Grosse Pointe Theatre's begins tonight in St. Paul Cemetery near Moross Road and Country Club Lane. Bring a lawn chair and catch the outdoor monologues. The gate opens at 7:30 p.m.

4. The Grosse Pointe Public Library . with state program Michigan Reads! One State, One Children's Book. Kim Adams will read Memoirs of a Goldfish by Devon Scillian.
