GPPL: Woods Branch Closing For Renovations

Construction at the Woods Branch begins Wednesday, December 1. To prepare for the renovations the branch will close Sunday, November 21.

The renovation includes an interior refresh of finishes, furniture and fixtures, new layout and circulation desk, audiovisual room converted to a lounge space with an area for the Friends of the Library book sales, a new state-of-the-art marker space in the lower level and an improved and enhanced outdoor courtyard.

After the branch closes patrons will be able to pick up their library materials at the Central or Ewald branches. 

Construction is expected to take five months to complete.
