Grosse Pointe South Falls to Lakeview in District Basketball

Grosse Pointe South's season came to an end with a 76-56 loss to (4-17), Lakeview High School's varsity boys basketball team on Wednesday.

The Blue Devils finished with a record of 4-17.

Competing in Class A District 22, the Huskies (19-3) will face Detroit Southeastern (15-5) Friday at East Detroit High School. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.

Lakeview's win Wednesday made it a clean sweep over Grosse Pointe's high schools. The Huskies defeated Grosse Pointe North 73-62 Monday.
