Man Accused Of Armed Robbery Arrested In Grosse Pointe Woods: Police

HARPER WOODS, MI — A 19-year-old man is facing charges in connection with an armed robbery that happened earlier this month in Harper Woods, according to police.
Police said the robbery happened on Aug. 10 at 9:30 a.m. near the intersection of Harper Avenue and Lennon Street in Harper Woods.
Officers arrested Thomas Travon Mctyer Jr. five days later near Mack Avenue and Country Club Drive in Grosse Pointe Woods, according to police.

Police also recovered the stolen property.
Mctyer Jr. was charged Saturday with armed robbery. He was placed in jail with a $50,000 bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 4.
