Racing For Kids Street Fair Takes Over the Hill
The fifth annual street fair featuring a variety of children's activities and cars will close Kercheval Avenue on the Hill today from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The flags have been up for weeks. The annual Racing for Kids street fair opens today at 11:30 a.m. offering many children's activities as well as a display of a variety of cars.
Kercheval Avenue will be closed by Public Safety for the event. The street fair is scheduled to close at 3 p.m. An evening fundraising reception begins at Northern Trust at 6 p.m.
The live auction features luxury items and proceeds to be given to pediatric departments of several area hospitals, including .

The streetfair will offer:
- sidewalk sale
- games
- bouncy toys
- live music
- refreshments
- a small display of cars
Tickets may be purchased at the door for the evening reception for $90, which includes gourmet foods, cocktails and live jazz music.Â
