Historical House Move to Be Considered, Wireless Facility to be Considered and Concours d'Elegance Happening This Week

Municipal meetings, classic car show and nonprofit events are planned this week.

Here are some events to add to your calendar this week:

  • The Grosse Pointe Park City Council Monday will consider a request to relocate the historical Cadieux Farmhouse to 16641 E. Jefferson.
  • The Grosse Pointe Woods Planning Commission Tuesday will consider a wireless facility at 1190 Parkway.
  • The Full Circle Foundation, a nonprofit partner of the Grosse Pointe Public Schools which works with adults with special needs, will hold a talent show with a performance by the students Friday at Brownell Middle School. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased by phone at (313) 469-6660 or at 17006 Mack Avenue. 
  • The Hunt Club Tennis will hold a grand opening celebration Saturday.
  • The Sixth Annual Grosse Pointe Concours d'Elegance will be held at noon Sunday at Pier Park. Welcome to the Sixth Annual Concours. Admission is free, and all Grosse Pointe vehicles are free.
