5 Things to Know About Settlers Park
Here are five ideas the community shared with Hartland Township on what residents would like to see added to Phase II of Settlers Park.
Starting our Daily 5 Things segment, Hartland Patch will share five important things about the topic of day.
Today's feature is a small sample of five ideas the community suggested to the Township during informal community meetings for phase II of Settlers Park that include:
1. Dog park
2. Farmer's Market
3. Sand volleyball area
4. Community garden
5. Batting cages
"The community has demonstrated strong support for the parks and, in fact, many have asked if they could contribute to development," Communications Director Colleen Rosso said in an email. "Those who wish to contribute may do so through the Hartland Treasurer’s Office. The donation may be tax deductible, but donors should consult with their tax advisors for a final determination."
