5 Things to Know About Hartland Summer Activities for Kids

In our Daily 5 Things segment, Hartland Patch will share five important things about the topic of day. 

Still looking for ideas for how to occupy your child's summer? Check out some of these local options where spaces are still available.

1Kids Asian Culinary Boot Camp - Offered through Hartland Community Education for children ages 5 and up. Classes start August 3 from 9 a.mm -12:30 p.m. Cost is $50.

2. Advanced Painting & Art Camp - Offered through Hartland Community Education for children ages for children ages 8 and up. Classes run through August 12 - 15  from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Cost is $65. 

3. Girls Basketball Skills and Scrimmage - Offered through Hartland Community Education for girls ages 8-11. Camp starts July 29 - August 2  from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Cost is $75.

4. BYOT - Bring Your Own Tools for Technology - Offered through Cromaine District Library. Event takes place on July 25 at 6:30 p.m. at the village location. Registration is required. Bring your tools, your tech exploring skills for an opportunity to tear things apart, put them back together, build simple robots, and more! For youth and teens especially but ALL ages welcome!

5. Percy Jackson's First Movie-  Offered through Cromaine District Library. Event takes place on July 29 at 2 p.m. Popcorn and drinks provided. Bring a pillow or blanket to get comfy. Register - Village.
