1. Dash of the Dead 5k

• When: Saturday, Oct. 5 
• Where: Brighton Recreation Area
• What: Come out dressed in your scariest zombie attire or your human attire and run for you lives in this is Dash of the Dead 5k fun run/walk. Celebrate your survival or your Zombie transformation at the Dance of the Dead After Party. Visit www.selcra.com to register.

• When: Saturday, Oct. 5
• Where: Cromaine Library- Village
• What: The Global Cardboard Challenge invites kids around the world to design and build awesome creations using cardboard, recycled materials and imagination. 

• When: Sunday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m.
• Where: All Saints Lutheran Church
• What: The ceremony will take place in the parking lot of All Saints Lutheran Church and all are welcome.
