Hartland's Fast Pitch Team Takes Home Another Championship

Do you know a great kid, youth group or team that deserves to be recognized? Share their accomplishments here.

Here at Patch, we love to regularly spotlight young people in the Hartland community who are successful, talented and just plain awesome.

But we need your help. We know those kids are out there doing great things for and in the community, so let us know about them so we can help spread the word.

Today we feature the girls 10U Eagles fast pitch team.

  • Introduction: The team includes: Rachel Everett, Kamryn Gerecke, Riley Gerecke, Jordyn Hobson, Olivia Lauer, Riley Patzer, Lydia Plasky, Delaney Robeson, Katrina Stapleton, Kelsey Zampa and Julia Zucks
  • Coached by Shane Patzer and assisted By Coach Dan, Coach Billy, Coach Mark, and Coach Doreen
  • Achievement: The team took home another big win as champions again this past weekend at the Midland Line Drive Grand Slam.
  • Keys to awesomeness: After a two week break, the girls came back strong for yet another win. The team hopes to end their season with a hometown win at their own home tournament left in Hartland.
Do you know a local young person who deserves applause because he or she shovels the elderly neighbors' driveway? Or perhaps athletic achievements are worth sharing. Everyone deserves attention, and we want to tell these stories. Email nominations to local editor Tatum Ryan at tatum.ryan@patch.com, provide the information shown above and include a photo with names and ages.
