Livingston County Election Results: Voters Take To The Polls

Voters are taking to the polls Tuesday to cast their votes in Michigan’s 2014 midterm elections.

Democratic candidate for governor Mark Schauer, running on a platform of reversing prior taxes and budget cuts in the state, is up against Republican incumbent Gov. Rick Snyder, who has been in the position since 2011.

Democrat Gary Peters and Republican Terri Lynn Land are running to represent Michigan in the United States Senate alongside Sen. Debbie Stabenow.
