• Two hospitalized after head-on crash in Oceola Township (livingstondaily.com) — A 23-year-old Howell woman was critically injured when her Chrysler was hit head-on by a Jeep that crossed into oncoming traffic on Highland Road in Oceola Township. She and her passenger were extricated by the Howell Area Fire Department and taken to U-M Hospital, while the Jeep’s driver suffered minor injuries. Deputies say alcohol isn’t suspected, but speed may be a factor.
