Fish Fry and Fireworks Show plus More this Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are three events you should know about in the Hartland area.

1. Community Fish Fry and Professional Fireworks Display

  • When: Saturday, July 6 at 6 p.m. 
  • Where: West Highland Baptist Church
  • What: The night begins with dinner (fish, hot dogs, burgers, sides, desserts and beverages). Throughout the evening there will also be games and activities for all ages, (cornhole, volleyball, playground, bounce house, sack races, face painting and tug-o-war). And, there will be live, patriotic music, ending with a professional fireworks display at dark. There is no charge for admission or parking. 

2. Hartland Farmer's Market

  • When: Saturday, July 6 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Parking lot of the Hartland Educational Support Service Center
  • What: Buy your produce fresh and local and check out other vendors set up at the market.

3. Free Book/Magazine/CD/DVD Exchange

  • When: Saturday, July 6 at 9 a.m.
  • Where: Recycle Livingston in Howell
  • What: On Saturday, there will be hosting a book, magazine, CD and DVD exchange. Just bring your contributions and take home some "new to you" items to enjoy.
