You're Invited to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Hartland's Heritage Park

A ribbon cutting ceremony for Hartland Heritage Park will take place this week. Here are five things to know about the upcoming ceremony.

When: Wednesday, August 7 at 5:30 p.m.

Where: Hartland Heritage Park on M59 west of Pleasant Valley Road.

Who will be there: More than 200 young players, together with representatives from the Hartland Area Youth Athletic Association (HAYAA), the Hartland Community Soccer Association (HCSA) and Hartland Township.

What: The park, a collaborative effort between HAYAA, HCSA and Hartland Township, features ten sports fields to host football, lacrosse and soccer.

Why not to miss it: Hartland Township, HAYAA and HCSA will host this ribbon cutting. The Township will also honor Hartland High School Student Jacob Scherba who won the Name That Place Contest for the park.
