Strawberry Harvest Ready for Picking at Hartland Orchard

Strawberry season is here just in time to celebrate the first day of summer vacation in Hartland. 

The strawberry picking season begins June 12 at Spicer Orchards and runs through July 1, according to the Spicer Orchards website.

The Hartland Township orchard expects “good” picking conditions for the day, but advises that people should call for daily updates before planning a trip “as conditions change quickly depending on weather and picking volume.”

Starting in July, Spicer’s will have cherries, raspberries and blueberries ready for picking. Check their website for more details.
