Construction began last weekend in Hartland with single- lane closures on M-59, one of the township's busiest roads.
The orange construction barrels start just outside Brown's Drilling Company near Musson Rd. and signal the start of the months-long road work project.
On Saturday, some Hartland motorists warned of traffic delays up to 20 minutes. The project is expected to last through November, according to MDOT.
