James Weeks, the current sign guy says mixed in with some underground rap music, he also listens to audio books.
"So, sometimes I'm even dancing to audio books out here," he said.
As to how many books he had gone through during his time advertising and entertaining on the busy corner?
"I honestly don't know," he said with a laugh. "I've lost count."
Music, books, smart phones and dancing all combine to make the job "not such a bad gig," according to Weeks.
"I get outside and I have a tan for the first time in my life," he said.
