What You Need to Know About Hartland Heritage Day

Heritage Day takes place in the village of Hartland on Saturday starting at 10 a.m.

Enjoy old-fashioned games, arts and crafts and buy a bag of books at the 2013 Hartland Heritage Day, taking place in the village on Saturday, Sept. 21 starting at 9:30 a.m.

Schedule:

  • 9:30 a.m.: Ribbon cutting ceremony for Settlers Park
  • 10 a.m.: Pet Parade 
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Tractor Show
  • 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.: Cromaine Friends Book Sale / Jesters Barbershop  Quartet.
  • 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.: Barn Raising
  • 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.: HERO Teen Center Open House
  • 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.: Florence B. Dearing Museum
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Historical "Passport" Activity for kids
  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.: Quilt and Fiber Show Demonstration at Hartland Methodist Church
  • 10:30 am: Historic Village Hayride Tour 
  • 10:30 am: Doggie Dash
  • 12 p.m.: The Living Cemetery Tour
  • 12 p.m. Announcement of Heritage Day Scarecrow Contest winners
  • 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.: Howell Nature Center Bus and Birds of Prey   

Performances throughout the day free of charge.
