3 Arrested, 2 At-Large After Macomb County Drive-By Shooting: Sheriff

There were no injuries in the shooting, according to police.​​​

MACOMB TOWNSHIP, MI — Three people were arrested and police are looking for two others in connection with a weekend Macomb Township drive-by shooting, according to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office.

The shooting happened at 5:45 p.m. Sunday on Sheri Drive in Westbridge Manor Mobile Home Park near Hall Road and Card Road, according to police.

Witnesses told investigators that five people fired multiple shots from a white Cadillac SUV, according to police.

The gunfire struck multiple homes, with the majority of shots hitting one home and one vehicle, according to police.

There were no injuries in the shooting, according to police.

The suspected shooters initially ran away from the SUV after the shooting, according to police.

Officers arrested a 20-year-old Detroit woman and a 26-year-old Eastpointe man when they returned to the SUV a short time later, according to police.

Officers also arrested an 18-year-old Macomb Township man on an unrelated warrant, according to police.

Investigators have not yet determined a motive for the shooting.

Officials were still investigating the shooting and looking for additional suspects. They have not released a description of the other two suspected shooters seen running from the Cadillac.
