Forgotten Harvest will celebrate and thank the farmers and volunteers for those in need last fall. A special dinner
and award presentation will take place March 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the Lorenzo Cultural Center on the campus of Macomb Community College in Clinton Township.

“These individuals saw a need in their communities to get healthy, fresh food to those in need and they made it happen, said Russ Russell, Forgotten Harvest director of development, in a prepared statement. “Not only did we collect more than 350 tons of food but we had some wonderful days that we spent with these farmers and volunteers and gathering the food became an event that people looked forward to.”
