being active, and monitoring blood sugar that improve the quality
of life of people with diabetes. It is a collaborative process in which

knowledge, problem-solving and coping skills needed to successfully
self-manage the disease and its related conditions.

  2. Healthy Steps: A program designed to educate individuals on diabetes and foot-care. It will demonstrate how diabetics should correctly care for their feet in order to avoid the serious problems often associated with the disease.
