L'Anse Creuse North Grad a "Hit" in the NHL
L'Anse Creuse North graduate Steven Oleksy has been signed by the Washington Capitals and already has made his mark in the NHL.
Steven Oleksy, a L'Anse Creuse North graduate and Chesterfield Township native, has been signed by the Washington Capitals and recently made a big "hit" in the NHL.
In a video posted on YouTube, Oleksy took on fellow Michigan native Drayson Bowman of the Carolina Hurricanes March 12 in a fight. The Macomb County native  - in his first fight - showed he could be an enforcer for the Capitals.
