Multiple I-94 Lanes In Macomb County Closing For Road Work: MDOT

The work is part of a $32.5 million Interstate 94 project, which includes bridge work, traffic signal updates and partial ramp rebuilding.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Multiple Interstate 94 lanes in Macomb County will close Wednesday for road work, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Westbound Interstate 94 will have one lane open from County Line Road to Michigan 29 (23 Mile Road) between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 3, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Officials also said there will also be intermittent ramp closures at Michigan 29 (23 Mile Road).

There will be one lane open in both directions of Interstate 94 from Michigan 29 (23 Mile Road) to County Line Road from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 and Sunday Nov. 5, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Crews expect most of the work will be done by mid-November, but signal work will continue through early December, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
