Sheriff's Deputy Involved in Shooting in Macomb Township

Multiple media outlets are reporting that a deputy from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office was involved in a shooting early Tuesday morning.

A Macomb County Sheriff's deputy was reportedly involved in a shooting early Sunday morning in Macomb Township, according to a report on ClickonDetroit.com.

The shooting between the deputy and a robbery suspect occurred after 2 a.m. on Romeo Plank, south of 22 Mile Road, the television station reported.

During the pursuit, a Sheriff's vehicle was struck, according to WXYZ-TV.
