Superheroes raise more than $100,000 at the Walk for Miracles

to benefit Corewell Health's Beaumont Children's, a Children's Miracle Network Hospital

Approximately 2,500 superheroes joined Beaumont Children’s “Walk for Miracles,” presented by Co-op Solutions, at the Detroit Zoo on Saturday, June 10, 2023. Event proceeds of more than $100,000 benefit Children’s Miracle Network programming at Corewell Health’s Beaumont Children’s.

Participants dressed as their favorite superhero or fantasy character. All walkers received a superhero cape and medal as they enjoyed visiting the animals along the two-mile path around the zoo.

Along the way, children were thrilled to meet Super Beau, the Beaumont Children’s mascot, and other popular fairytale and comic book heroes provided by the League of Enchantment. Ghostbusters Detroit also brought the Ghostbuster mobile and several character actors to delight the guests.
