Township Of Macomb: Snow Removal Reminder

Property owners are responsible for the removal of snow and/or ice that has accumulated on the public sidewalk adjacent to their property. When a snow and/or ice event has occurred, it must be removed within 24-hours so far as is practicable and reasonable to allow the safe pedestrian use of such sidewalk.Failure of owner to remove snow and/or ice in the required 24-hour time frame may result in the Township or its contractor to abate the accumulation of snow and/or ice at the expense of the property owner.
