• Presque Isle Pavilion nixed as overflow space for unhoused people in Marquette (wnmufm.org) — Marquette’s City Commission has decided not to use the Presque Isle Pavilion as overflow space for unhoused residents, opting instead for a temporary solution that doesn’t involve city facilities. Officials and Room at the Inn agree the pavilion plan wasn’t workable, and city leaders stress that a broader, long-term regional approach to homelessness is still urgently needed.
