Man Killed In Hit-And-Crash In Macomb County: Police
Police are looking for a black 2017 to 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, which they believe has crash damage to the right side headlight.
CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — A man was killed Monday night in a hit-and-run crash in Chesterfield Township, according to police.
Officers found the 42-year-old Chesterfield Township man dead in a grassy area on Cotton Road near the Interstate 94 overpass at 6:46 a.m., police said.
Police believe a black 2017 to 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee struck the man on the road sometime overnight. Police believe the jeep has crash damage to the right or passenger side headlight and turn signal area.

"His family has been notified of his death and are very upset about the news," the department said. "The Chesterfield Twp. Police Investigators are currently devoting much time on this case."
No additional details were released by police.
