CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI — Two men were arrested last weekend after trying to solicit sex from a minor in Chesterfield Township, according to police.
One man was arrested at 11 p.m. Saturday when he showed up at a Chesterfield Township home to meet a minor and "engage in sexual acts," according to police.
The man was communicating with two other men who were posing as a minor on an online dating platform, according to police.

The two men posing as minors called police when the man showed up at the home Saturday night, according to police.
The man was placed in the Macomb County Jail while charges were pending. Police did not immediately release his name.

Another man was arrested at 7:50 p.m. Sunday when he showed up at a Walmart parking lot to meet a minor for sex, according to police.
That man was also communicating with the two men posing as minors, according to police.
The men posing as minors called the police when the man arrived at the store, according to police.
The man was placed in the Macomb County Jail while charges were pending. Police did not immediately release his name.
The men who posed as minors are civilians and were not working for or with the police department.
