
The 49th annual Bay-Rama Fishfly Festival will invade downtown New Baltimore June 19-23, bringing family-friendly rides, attractions, fireworks and entertainment.
Here's what organizers have planned for the popular event:
Wednesday, June 19
Midway opens at 3 p.m., with Rosco The Clown, Kids' activities following. The Queen's pageant begins at 6:30 p.m., Chicken Chuckin' contest at 7 p.m. with Midway closing at 10 p.m. and festival tent closing at 11 p.m.Thursday, June 20
Anchor Bay Chamber of Commerce Business by the Bay kicks off festivities at noon, Midway opens at 3 p.m., with entertainment and family activities throughout the day. Fireworks are at dusk at Walter and Mary Burke Park. Midway closes at 10 p.m. Festival tent closes at 12:30 a.m.Friday, June 21
Midway opens at 3 p.m., food-eating contests and entertainment follow, a Princess and Pirates Party is 6-7:30 p.m. at the New Baltimore Civic Club, Monkey Grinder takes the stage at 8 p.m. Midway closes at 10 p.m. Festival tent closes at 12:30 a.m.Saturday, June 22
Midway opens at noon, Kids' Day activities and a petting zoo will be featured from noon to 2 p.m., a pizza-eating contest is at 2 p.m., Juke Box Trio takes stage at 3 p.m., Cardboard Boat Regatta construction is at 3 p.m., with the actual race at 5 p.m., entertainment, including belly-dancing performance is to follow. Midway closes at 10 p.m. Festival tent closes at 12:30 a.m.Sunday, June 23
