Veterans' Outeach Program Coming to New Batimore
Macomb County Commissioner Kathy Vosburg, Macomb County Clerk Carmella Sabaugh and the Macomb County Veterans Affairs Department will hold an outreach program on May 9 at Lempke-Blackwell VFW Post.

Macomb County Commissioner Kathy Vosburg will help host a veterans’ outreach program on Wednesday, May 9, from 3-7 p.m. at the Lempke-Blackwell VFW Post 7573 in New Baltimore.
Vosburg will partner with Macomb County Clerk Carmella Sabaugh and the Macomb County Veterans Affairs Department to connect veterans to local officials and available services, including making the veteran photo identification service more accessible.
The program is for active duty personnel, retired veterans and their families.
At the program, people may:
- Speak with Macomb County Commissioner Kathy D. Vosburg about county government and have your questions answered.
- Speak with representatives from the Macomb County Veterans Affairs Department regarding the full range of programs and benefits available to them through the county.
- Find out about the new photo ID program offered through the County Clerk/Register of Deeds Carmela Sabaugh's office. This service is provided at the clerk’s office in Mount Clemens, but will be made available at the outreaches venues. Veterans must bring a photo ID and discharge papers. IDs are $10 and by appointment only at this event. Please call 586-469-7935 for an appointment.
