Before you pack the car and hit the road this weekend, the Michigan Department of Transportation advises drivers of construction projects in Macomb County that may cause delays.
According to MDOT, they are:
Gratiot Avenue
Northbound M-3 will be closed from Church Street to Market Street from 6 p.m. Friday to midnight on Saturday for a festival with fireworks in downtown Mount Clemens.

Van Dyke Avenue
Both directions of M-53 will be closed at 23 Mile Road on Saturday from 7-8 a.m. for crews to cross an overhead line.
