• Man already serving 122-year sentence convicted in death of Niles teen (wndu.com) — A man already serving a lengthy sentence for killing two Niles women has now been convicted in the shooting death of 14-year-old Gavin Blankenship at Arbor Trails apartments. The 20-year-old was found guilty on four counts, including first-degree murder, and faces sentencing on Jan. 12, which may involve special consideration because he was 17 at the time.
