Northville Girls Soccer Beats Walled Lake Western

The Mustangs won the game, 2-1.

The Northville High School Mustangs varsity girls soccer beat Walled Lake Western High School Wednesday by a score of 2-1.

Walled Lake Western senior Madison Schram scored directly from a corner kick as the 20+ mph wind tucked the inside the near post.

Junior Gabby Mencotti collected a pass from sophomore Tara Pawloski at the 18 yard box and fired a low line drive shot passed the Warrior keeper.

73:00 minute mark

Senior Emily Bush was pushed down the penalty box earning a penalty kick.   Emily placed a hard low shot past the keeper for the game winner.  Sophomore Emily Maresh was the winning goalkeeper for the Mustang. She registered four saves.  

Northville moves to  2-0-0; Walled Lake Western moves to 1-1-0 

The next game is after spring break – Tuesday, April 9 at Canton High School.
