Child Killed, Multiple Hurt In Oakland Co. Hit-And-Run Crash: Reports

WALLED LAKE, MI — A young girl was killed, and multiple people were injured Wednesday night in a Walled Lake crash, according to reports.

The young girl is believed to be in her early teens and the injured victims were taken to a nearby hospital, where their conditions were not known, reports said.

Police said a speeding car caused a crash involving at least four cars at the intersection of Maple and Decker roads around 9:30 p.m., reports said.

After the crash, police said two people ran from the scene, reports said.

Police were looking for those two people, who they believe likely caused the accident, reports said.
