Christmas Wonderfest Comes to Novi for First Time
The annual event starts Thursday, on which active military members and their families can attend for free.

The third annual metro Detroit Christmas Wonderfest runs Thursday to Sunday at Novi's Suburban Collection Showplace.
It started in 2011 at Campus Martius Park in downtown Detroit, and this is its first year in Novi and indoors at 46100 Grand River Ave. This year it offers more than 10,000 Michigan-made products in the Christmas Market that also includes seasonal treats, entertainment by caroling choirs from across the region, indoor carousel rides, art and craft projects and visits with Santa Claus.
“Creating Christmas Wonderfest is a labor of love for all involved”, said Integrity Shows CEO Mark Loeb, who produces the event, in a news release. “We have had terrific response from all kinds of small businesses from across Michigan, and lots of great community partnerships have been forged as well. December is the perfect time to come together to celebrate all that we love about living in Michigan, and to shop locally for gifts and services.”

Many of the small businesses participating in Christmas Wonderfest are also donating a percentage of sales to the Children’s Miracle Network.
Expect Michigan memorabilia and gift items from Michigan museums and cultural organizations including: Pewabic Pottery, The Michigan and Detroit Historical Museums, Wayne State University Press and Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
