The woman was shopping at Forever 21 and noticed that her wallet was missing from her jacket pocket when she was getting ready to leave the store, the report said. The woman asked the cashier if anyone had turned it in, and they had, but with $100 missing, the report said. The woman’s license and social security card were still in the wallet, the report said. The woman told police that she knows the wallet was stolen because everything inside of it was rearranged. According to the report, the police plan to follow up with the store and look at its video surveillance.
House window broken by rock
A woman reported that the window of her house on Sloan Street was broken when someone threw a rock at it on Feb. 14 between 4:30-5:45 p.m., according to a police report. The woman returned to her house in the evening to find a hole in the screen of the window and glass on the floor of the inside of her house, the report said. The woman also found a rock below the window inside her house, the report said. The woman said it could be three juveniles who rang her doorbell before she left the house and ran away, the report said.
Police followed footsteps from the house to the Knightsbridge Gate Subdivision Clubhouse, where the officer found a section of the fence had been pulled away from the brick wall to gain entrance into the pool area, the report said. Several inappropriate pictures were also found drawn in chalk on the brick wall, the report said. A representative from the homeowners’ association told police he would like to purse prosecution because the clubhouse has had several problems in the past, the report said.

A man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol-third offense, driving with a suspended license and possession of marijuana on Feb. 19 at 9:30 p.m., according to a police report. The passenger in his car was arrested on charges of obstruction of justice, the report said.Â
The 58-year-old man was stopped by a Novi police officer on Pontiac Trail near Beck Road for speeding, and the officer could smell a strong odor of intoxicants coming from the vehicle, the report said. While attempting to arrest the driver, the 56-year-old male passenger attempted to get out of the car, and the officer told him to stay, the report said. The officer told the man he would have to call someone to come pick him up from the nearby gas station, the report said. The man asked if he could go into the gas station to call the phone, but the officer told him to stay in the car to use his cell phone.
The officer then returned to his patrol car to run the two men in his computer, when the passenger got out of the other vehicle and went into the gas station, the report said. The man exited the opposite side of the station, and the officer asked other officers to look for him in the area, the report said. Wixom police found him behind Kroger, which is behind the gas station, the report said. Novi police then arrested the man on charges of obstruction of justice, the report said.
