Deadly Crash Closes EB I-96 In Oakland County: Reports

NOVI, MI — Two people were killed in a crash Tuesday morning on Interstate 96 in Oakland County, according to local reports.

The crash happened at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near Beck Road in Novi, police said.

As of 8:30 a.m., all eastbound lanes on Interstate 96 were still closed. Officials said drivers can re-enter the freeway at Novi Road. It's not clear when they'll reopen.
