Fire Captain Seog completes course
Captain graduates from prestigious school of Fire Staff and Command

Novi Fire Captain Todd D. Seog was among 42 students to graduate from the prestigious School of Fire Staff and Command at Eastern Michigan University Oct. 23.
The program consists of 350 hours of competency-based education spread over a 10 month period, taking fire fighting officers beyond traditional operation methods.
The course also exposes these officers to conceptual thinking and problem-solving techniques, as well as knowledge, skills and abilities aimed at assisting students in problem analysis, management situations, project management, grant funding projects, managing fiscal budgets and managing personnel matters.
“This is a significant personal milestone for Todd and a major step in his professional growth and development as a public safety executive,” Novi Director of Public Safety/Chief of Police David E. Molloy said. “Todd’s sustained leadership in our comprehensive training program will be taken to new heights as a result of the experiences and knowledge he has gained over the past ten months. As Todd continues forward, I have every confidence he will capitalize on this opportunity and will continue his educational track.”
