Hino Consolidates Operations In Novi

NOVI, MI — When completed, Hino Trucks & Hino Motors Manufacturing new corporate headquarters in Novi will employ about 200 people. The company recently broke ground on the 124,000-square foot facility, which will be located at 12 Mile and Taft roads.

Hino is combining current operations in Novi and Farmington Hills into the new facility. Construction is expected be completed in late 2018 or early 2019. Besides office space, the building will contain 41,800 square feet for warehouse space.

“Today’s groundbreaking not only signifies Hino’s growth in the U.S. but also a new beginning for our operations in the U.S. With sales, distribution, engineering and manufacturing operations all under one roof at our new U.S. headquarters,” Yoshinori Noguchi, CEO & President of Hino Trucks said in a statement, “our ability to manage the phenomenal growth of the Hino Brand in America will be greatly enhanced.”

Hino, a Toyota Group company, assembles, sells, and services a lineup of Class 4-7 conventional and cab-over commercial trucks in the United States. Hino boasts a network of over 200 dealers nationwide is the premier medium duty nameplate in the United States.
