Mod Market hosts 5th Annual Autism Acceptance Art Show
Exhibit highlights work of 12 neurodiverse artists; opening reception set for April 8 in Novi
Join Mod Market — an enterprise of the Living and Learning Enrichment Center — for its 5th Annual Autism Acceptance Art Show, featuring the work of 12 talented artists with autism. Held every April in recognition of Autism Awareness and Acceptance Month, this special exhibit highlights a range of artistic styles and mediums. The show will take place at Sweetwaters Coffee & Tea, located at 44346 Grand River Avenue in Novi.
Celebrate the creativity, talent, and expression of these incredible artists during the opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8. Guests are invited to meet the artists, enjoy refreshments from Sweetwaters, and purchase artwork. Half of all proceeds go directly to the artists, with the other half supporting Mod Market’s mission.
Located in Northville, Mod Market is an inclusive artisan shop and training space operated by the Living and Learning Enrichment Center, a nonprofit dedicated to helping teens and adults with different abilities. The market offers a wide variety of handmade goods while providing participants with meaningful job training and real-world experience in a supportive, inclusive environment.
