Novi Bowling Teams Fall to First Place John Glenn

In the boys bowling match vs. John Glenn Wednesday, John Glenn beat Novi 19-11. Novi (3-7, 2-4) took six baker points but lost both regular games, 1033-905 and 994-813, to first place and state-ranked John Glenn. Andrew Thorwall and Chad Smith each scored two points; Thorwall with games of 234-192 and Smith shooting 171-194.

The girls team lost 13-17. Novi (4-6,2-4 ) put up a strong fight against first place John Glenn, winning all 10 baker points with games of 177-159 and 158-145, but could score three more points while losing both regular games, 848-756 and 795-760. Megan Engels, 174, Shelby Limpert, 165, and Evie Plaetinck, 140, scored single points for Novi.
