Novi Bowling Teams Beat Plymouth

The boys varsity bowling team beat Plymouth Wednesday 17-13. Novi (4-11, 3-7) won both baker games, 197-166 and 171-167, but fell apart in the first game losing all five single points and the game 985-778. Novi improved by 311 pins in the second game behind Andrew Thorwall, 279 (personal best), Morgan Wiley, 234, and Mat Kotowicz, 225, to win the game 1089-1024 and the match.

The girls also beat Plymouth 20.5-9.5. Novi (9-6, 6-4) won the first baker game 177-169 and lost the second 163-137, then won two close games 829-758 and 832-792 that required clutch 10th frame bowling. Shelby Limpert scored two single points with games of 148-144. Sara Schulz, 219-176, Callie Wright, 198-189, and Jessie Snider, 133-183, had high games for Novi.
