Novi Boys Varsity Basketball Beats South Lyon at the Buzzer

The boys varsity basketball team beat South Lyon at the buzzer Tuesday night with a final score of 38-36.

South Lyon tied the score with four seconds left. Novi threw a long pass to a blocked layup. After taking the ball in with 1.8 seconds left, the Wildcats threw up a 2-point shot to win the game.

Nelson Cagle had 16 points in the game, nearly half of Novi's score. Charles McKinney was the second-highest scorer for the Wildcats with eight points.

Novi next takes on Northville at home at 7 p.m. Friday.
