Novi Girls Bowling Beats Salem, Boys Team Defeated
The girls won 27-3, while the boys lost 24-6.

The varsity girls bowling team beat Salem High School 27-3 Monday. Novi (4-3, 2-2) won all 10 baker points in two close matches, 131-119 and 129-126, and the first game 727-678 to wrap up the match. They also won the second game 695-688. Sara Schulz won two points with games of 190-168. Callie Wright secured both baker games wins with 10-frame strikes and scored one point shooting games of 169-181.
The boys team lost to Salem 24-6. Novi (2-5, 1-3) fell behind by 10 points after the baker games, but came back to tie the first game 921-921 and score four single points, but then lost the second game 970-820. Chad Smith, 211, Charlie Woods, 193, Cory Brown, 167, and Andrew Thorwall, 191, all scored single points in the first game.
