Novi Girls Bowling Boasts All-Time Best Record
The girls finished the season with a victory against Salem Tuesday.

The Novi High School girls bowling team beat Salem 20-10 Tuesday. Novi (10-7, 7-5) finished the dual meet season with a victory, giving Novi the all-time best record in girls bowling. Novi won the first baker game 128-106 and lost the second 153-107, then had to overcome Kristin Larkins 258-258 for Salem to win both regular games 829-784 and 818-697. Megan Engels, 184-199, and Jessie Snider, 133-177, scored two points for Novi, and Sara Schulz had high game of 207.
The boys team lost to Salem Tuesday, 28-2. Novi (4-13, 3-9) finished the dual meet season (only tournaments remain) losing both bakers to a host Salem team 235-179 and 233-184 and both regular games 1133-789 and 1037-871. Andrew Thorwall, 238, and Kam Mitchel, 171, scored single points.

Match vs. Plymouth
On Monday, the girls lost to Plymouth 18-12. The Wildcats had their five-match winning streak snapped. Plymouth won both bakers, 157-126 and 169-167, and the first regular game, 762-747, to rap up the match. Novi won the second game 847-790 behind Callie Wright, 223, and Sara Schulz, 210.

The boys also lost to Plymouth Monday, 30-0. Novi ran into a hot Plymouth team losing both bakers, 174-173 and 250-183, and both regular games, 1072-881 and 1040-863. Andrew Thorwall shot 200-204 for Novi.
Mercy Tournament
At the Mercy Tournament Saturday, the following bowlers won medals:
- Sara Schulz shot 556 for three games and made the all-tournament girls varsity team.
- Evie Plaetinck shot 443 for three games and made the all-tournament JV girls team.
- Kam Mitchell shot 257 for our high game of the day.
