Novi Girls Bowling Shoots Program's Best Game

The girls made history Monday with a game of 986.

The girls varsity bowling team beat Wayne Monday 26-4. Novi (6-6, 4-4) started strong with 182-134 and 162-155 baker game wins, and with anchor Callie Wright striking out in the 10th frame, good for a 5-pin win, 738-733 in the first game. In the second game, the girls made history, shooting program best game of 986. Jessie Snider, 254 (personal best), and Sara Schulz, 225, lead the way.

Novi (4-8,2-6) lost 27-3 to a strong Wayne team, losing both baker games 213-198 and 232-150 and both regular games 986-969 and 967-848. Charlie Woods scored two points with games of 183 and 198, and Andrew Thorwall scored the other point with a 230 game.
