Novi Native to Play with Interlochen Arts Academy at Orchestra Hall
Darren Atiyeh, of Novi, will join the performers on March 22.

Students from the Interlochen Center for the Arts will perform in a free concert at the Orchestra Hall at the Max Fisher Music Center on March 22.
Among them will be Novi resident Darren Atiyeh, according to a press release. He is a senior at the academy and plays the oboe. The students will next perform in Washington, D.C. and New York.
The Interlochen-based arts academy, founded in 1962, offers a year-round high school program as well as a summer arts program. It is regarded as the first arts high school founded in the United States.
