Oakland County Brewery Closing Down After 10 Years
Before its final day, the brewery teased its planning a farewell party to celebrate the community.β
NEW HUDSON, MI β An Oakland County brewery is closing down this month after 10 years of business.
Draught Horse Brewery and Spirits, located along Grand River Avenue in New Hudson, announced Wednesday on social media that its last day will be Sept. 13.
"Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you for your loyal patronage and support over the past decade," organizers said in the post. "We also want to express our deepest gratitude to our amazing staffβwithout their dedication, hard work, and passion, none of this would have been possible. They have truly been the heart and soul of Draught Horse!"

Before its final day, the brewery teased its planning a farewell party to celebrate the community.
"From the bottom of our hearts, thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your lives for the past 10 yearsβit has been an absolute honor to serve this community," organizers said in the post.

While the brewery is closing down, the location's new owner is planning to convert the location to a restaurant with a microbrewery, and keep on any staff who wish to remain, according to the post.
