Community events

• The Novi City Council meets Monday in City Hall at 7 p.m. with a light agenda.
• ArtsNovi will host an open studio Monday night from 5-7 p.m. in the . All level of artists 15 and older are welcome to gather together to draw. Cost is $10 for residents.
• You can learn how to better manage your investments at a at the Tuesday at 7 p.m.
• The American Red Cross will have a at the Novi library from 12:30-6 p.m. Wednesday.
• Fathers and their girls have two chances to enjoy an evening together this weekend. Novi will host a Daddy Daughter Dance both Friday and Saturday nights from 7-9 p.m. at the Civic Center. All ages are welcome and cost is $19 per person.

Novi Community Schools weekly sports schedule

Here's some of the highlights of Novi's home games this week:

• On Tuesday, all the boys and girls basketball teams play Salem High School. The boys will be playing at home, with varsity playing at 7 p.m.
• The varsity bowling teams have a home match Tuesday at Novi Bowl against Salem High School at 3:30 p.m. 
• The varsity wrestling team competes in the MHSAA tournament Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at home.
• On Friday, all the boys and girls basketball teams play Livonia Stevenson. The girls will be playing at home, with varsity playing at 7 p.m.

• The basketball teams play Orchard Lake St. Mary's at home Tuesday, with varsity playing at 7:30 p.m.
